Burckhardt, Jacob: Otthon (Deheime in Hungarian)

Portre of Burckhardt, Jacob

Deheime (German)

Wie isch mer jetz die grossi Stube z'eng,
Syt selbi Schmerze-n-yziehnd mit Gidräng!
Wie luege mi die Büecher wo-n-i ha
Vo dene Schäfte trurig a!

Kei Arbet ruckt, und eb i's merke will
Lyt wieder d'Stirn uf beide-n-Aerme still.
Do gspür i wie mer's Bluet dur d'Schlöfe jagt,
Wie's inner Leid am Herze nagt.

I ka nit jomere, denn es schickt si nit,
Keim Andre bring i gern my Kummer mit.
Die lange-n-Obe, Herz, ergieb di dry,
Sie wend allei erduldet sy.

Die ersti Prob! – und wenn i's überstand,
So bin i erst recht werth der liebe Hand.
Und soll's nit sy, und trag i's ohni Ghül,
So zwing i in der Welt no viel.

Otthon (Hungarian)

Mily szűk e nagyszoba most nekem,
mióta fájdalmak zsarolnak engem!
Hogy néznek a könyveim némán
a szekrényekből szomorúan rám!

A hosszú estén, szívem add meg magad ott bent
egyedül kell neked mindezt elviselned.

Az első próba! – és ha ezt majd átélem,
a szerető kezet akkor kiérdemlem.
Ha nem, hát elviselem harag nélkül,
kényszerítem a világot míg meg nem békül.
