Uploaded by | P. T. |

The House Is Bare (English)
The house is bare The air is thick In rooms of fatal illness. Who is an unfortunate man? A father, unable to help When his own children whimper.
Go out, go out Out from this fright, Go out in storms and flurries! And, if the eternal nature Were to show such sharp countenance, I would feel so much relieved.
Is it relief That, west and east, Oaks and firs are uprooted? Does this destruction external Dissolve destruction internal? By no means! Oh, by no means!
But, let it rage. May God be praised, That springtime comes with showers. Just as it follows the winter, So sunshine follows our sorrow, If we can overcome it.
