Dickinson, Emily: A lélek legfőbb perce... (306) (The Soul's Superior instants (306) in Hungarian)

Portre of Dickinson, Emily

The Soul's Superior instants (306) (English)

The Soul's Superior instants

Occur to Her—alone—

When friend—and Earth's occasion

Have infinite withdrawn—

Or She—Herself—ascended

To too remote a Height

For lower Recognition

Than Her Omnipotent—

This Mortal Abolition

Is seldom—but as fair

As Apparition—subject

To Autocratic Air—

Eternity's disclosure

To favorites—a few—

Of the Colossal substance

Of Immortality

A lélek legfőbb perce... (306) (Hungarian)

 A lélek legfőbb perce

Az övé - egyedül -

Mikor barát és minden

A semmibe merül -

Vagy ő lép oly magasra,

A csúcsra távozó,

Nem látja földi szem,

Csak a Mindenható.

E földi nem-lét ritka,

De oly igaz lehet,

Akár a jelenés, a

Légnek alávetett,

A választott kevésnek

Tárt örökkévaló,

A kolosszális lényeg,

A nem romolható.
