Mistral, Gabriela: El pensador de Rodin

Portre of Mistral, Gabriela

El pensador de Rodin (Spanish)

A Laura Rodig

Laura Rodignak

Nagy, durva tenyerébe belesüpped az álla -

a Gondolkodó töpreng: várja a sír a testet.

Tudja: ha jön a vég, lefoszlik rongyruhája:

gyűlöli a halált, s a szépség előtt reszket.

Szerelem járt vele a lángoló tavaszban,

most, ősszel rászakadt az igazság s a bánat.

Tömör bronzhomlokán átszáll borongva lassan

a „meg kell halnunk", kezdete az éjszakának.

Szorongva ül: izmait széthasítja a kín,

rémület ömlik el húsának árkain,

hervad mint Őszi lomb, retteg kemény urától,

ki bronzba hívta Őt. Perzselt növény a pusztán
