Verlaine, Paul: Őszi dal (Chanson d'automne in Hungarian)

Portre of Verlaine, Paul

Chanson d'automne (French)

Les sanglots longs

Des violons

De l'automne

Blessent mon coeur

D'une langueur

Monotone.

Tout suffocant

Et blême, quand

Sonne l'heure,

Je me souviens

Des jours anciens

Et je pleure

Et je m'en vais

Au vent mauvais

Qui m'emporte

Deçà, delà,

Pareil à la

Feuille morte.

Őszi dal (Hungarian)

Ha az ősz fuvolál,

szomorú dala száll,

   néha lehullva.

Bágyadt hangjainál

a szivem sebe fáj;

   tépdesi újra.

Hogy fullaszt a magány!

Szinem oly halovány

   s nincs bizony írja.

Csak idézem a mult

puha ködbe borult

   árnyait, sírva.

Már mindjárt ideér,

fölkap s visz-visz a szél

   messze magával -

hisz a fák terüjén

csak avar vagyok én,

   mely tovaszárnyal.
