D’Annunzio, Gabriele: Pásztorok (I Pastori in Hungarian)

Portre of D’Annunzio, Gabriele

I Pastori (Italian)

Settembre, andiamo. È tempo di migrare.

Ora in terra d’Abruzzi i miei pastori

scendono all’Adriatico selvaggio

Isciacquio, calpestio, dolci rumori.

Ah perché non son io co’ miei pastori?

Pásztorok (Hungarian)

Szeptember eljött. Szedd a sátorfádat.

Földijeim most fönn, az Abruzzókban

a karámból mind kihajtják a nyájat,

treleik már, le, az Adria felé,

mely kizöldült, mint a hegyi legelők.

Még beszippantják a hegyi levegőt,

nagyot húznak a hegyi forrásvízből:

a hosszú úton völgyiránt, s amott lenn

a szomjuk oltják majd ebből az ízből.

S vesszőt vágtak a mogyoróbokorról.

Most ereszkednek Nem hibáz a sorból

senki. Halk folyam: állat és az ember,

az ösvényen, hol öregapjuk is már...

S boldog, ki látja először a tenger

vizét remegni messze, halk morajjal.

Már lenn a parton csendesebb robajjal

halad a nyáj. Rajt' a Nap már tombolhat,

szőkére szíjja mind a birka gyapját –

sárga homokkal már mind egybeolvad.

Fut a nyáj, surrog, apró horkanások.

Mért nem maradtam veletek juhászok?
