Michelangelo, Buonarroti: Az élet alkonyán (114. Szonett) (Sonetto 114. (Giunto è già ‘l corso della vita mia) in Hungarian)

Portre of Michelangelo, Buonarroti

Sonetto 114. (Giunto è già ‘l corso della vita mia) (Italian)

Giunto è già ‘l corso della vita mia
Con tempestoso mar per fragil barca
Al comun porto, ov’ a render si varca
Giusta ragion d’ogni opra trista e pia:

Onde l’affettuosa fantasia,
Che l’arte si fece idolo e monarca,
Conosco ben quant’ era d’error carca;
Ch’ errore è ciò che l’uom quaggiù desia.

I pensier miei, già de’ mie’ danni lieti,
Che fian or, s’ a due morti m’avvicino?
L’una m’ è certa, e l’altra mi minaccia;

Nè pinger nè scolpir fia più che queti
L’anima volta a quell’ amor divino,
Ch’ aperse a prender noi in croce le braccia.

Az élet alkonyán (114. Szonett) (Hungarian)

Életutam immár a végéhez ért,
Törékeny bárkán, viharos tengeren
Elérte a partot a közös révben,
Hol számadás várta jó s rossz tettekért.

Mivelhogy a hajthatatlan képzelet
A művészetet bálvánnyá emelte,
Jól tudom ezért, milyen bűn terhelte
S mi tévedés a lenn sóvárgó embert.

Elmélkedéseim boldog végzetem,
Mi lesz most, hogy két halálhoz közelgem?
Az egyik biztos, a másik fenyeget.

Nem nyugtat meg se vésőm, sem ecsetem,
Az égi szerelemhez fordul lelkem,
Mely a keresztfán karját tárta felénk.
