Pavese, Cesare: Kőböl vésett az arcod (Hai il viso di pietra scolpita in Hungarian)

Portre of Pavese, Cesare

Hai il viso di pietra scolpita (Italian)

Hai il viso di pietra scolpita,
sangue di terra dura,
sei venuta dal mare.
Tutto accogli e scruti
e respingi da te
come il mare. Nel cuore
hai silenzio, hai parole
inghiottite. Sei buia.

Per te l’alba è silenzio.

E sei come le voci
della terra – l’urto
della secchia nel pozzo,
la canzone del fuoco,
il tonfo di una mela;
le parole rassegnate
e cupe sulle soglie,
il grido del bimbo – le cose
che non passano mai.
Tu non muti. Sei buia.

Sei la cantina chiusa,
dal battuto di terra,
dov’è entrato una volta
ch’era scalzo il bambino,
e ci ripensa sempre.
Sei la camera buia
cui si ripensa sempre,
come al cortile antico
dove s’apriva l’alba.

Kőböl vésett az arcod (Hungarian)

Kőböl vésett az arcod
kemény földből a véred
a tengerből jöttél.
Mindent befogadsz és vizsgálsz
majd eltaszítasz magadtól
mint a tenger. Szivedben csend
és elnyelt szavak. Búskomor vagy.
Számodra csend a hajnal.

Olyan vagy mint hangjai
a földnek - vödörnek
koppanása a kútban,
dala a tűznek,
egy alma huppanása;
lemondó és komor szavak
a küszöbök előtt,
egy gyermek kiáltása - a soha
el nem múló dolgok.
Te nem változol. Búskomor vagy.

Zárt pince vagy,
melyet földből vertek,
ahova betévedt egyszer
egy mezítlábas gyermek,
és amire mindig emlékezik.
Sötét szoba vagy, ahova
gondolat mindig visszajár,
mint az ósdi udvarra
ahol szétterült a hajnal.
