Simetrie (Romanian)
Mergeam
Symmetry (English)
As I was walking along suddenly two paths opened up for me: one to the left, the other to the right, and quite symmetrical. I stopped, blinked, bit either lip in turn, cleared my throat and took the one to the right (just the wrong one, it turned out later). So now I followed it. Never mind the details. And then suddenly two chasms opened up for me: one to the left, the other to the right. Without thinking I dropped headlong into the one to the left, which, alas, just was'nt the one padded with down! On all fours I crawled on, and as I crawled suddenly two open paths lay before me. Just wait, I said to myself, and this time took the one to the left. Straight into misery. The wrong choice, quite wrong; to the right led the True, the Only, the Great one, the Well, at the next fork I put my trust, body and soul, into the one on the right. Once more it was the other which ... Now my pack is almost empty, my gnarled stick, grown old, no longer puts out leaves that could give me shade when despair takes hold of me. My legs are worn down, the stumps grumble and growl that, no matter where I went, it was one great mistake. And suddenly now two Heavens open up for me: one to the right, the other to the left.
