Biography

Renata Deáková, born in Bratislave in 1968, is a literary translator. Among others, she translated the works of leading Hungarian writers (P. Esterhazy, P. Zavada) from Hungarian into Slovak. She received a PhD in literature for her thesis on Lajos Grendel, a writer of a multiethnic region. Deakova is the editor of the CD "Slovak visitcard" and of the website visegradliterature.net
