McGough, Roger: Különös szokásaid és téged (You and Your Strange Ways in Hungarian)

Portre of McGough, Roger

You and Your Strange Ways (English)

increasingly oftennow
you reach into your handbag
(the one I bought some xmasses ago)
and bringing forth
a pair of dead cats
skinned and glistening
like the undersides of tongues
or old elastoplasts
sticky with earwigs
you hurl them at my eyes
and laugh cruellongly
why?
even though we have grown older together
and my kisses are little more than functional
i still love you
you and your strange ways

Különös szokásaid és téged (Hungarian)

egyre gyakrabban
nyúlsz kézitáskádba
(melyet néhány karácsonnyal ezelőtt vettem neked)
és abból egy pár
- csillogón megnyúzott
ósdi ragtapaszra vagy
nyelv alsó felére hasonlító
fülbemászóktól ragadó -
döglött macskát húzol elő,
hogy azokat szemembe vágva
hosszgonoszan nevess
miért?
még akkor is, ha együtt járt el felettünk az idő
és külsőségnél csókom alig több
még mindig szeretlek
különös szokásaid és téged
