Sebestyén Péter: Haiku grey as the sea (Haikuk tengerszürkében in English)

Portre of Sebestyén Péter

Haikuk tengerszürkében (Hungarian)

Poszeidón és

mi. Itt ugyanolyan a lét.

Visszakéri majd.

Az óceánok

öröktől-sós vize; a

könny; az Ősidő.

Alámerülve

élnek a sellők. Ha látsz

egyet: felejtsd el.

Bokáig, térdig,

nyakig ér a dagály. Majd

holnap. Szüntelen.

Kerüld a delfin

szemét. Hatalmasabb az

a lét, ne feledd.

Elvitorláznak

mind; üres már az ég; nincs

albatrosz, egy sem.

Belesimulsz: "hadd

vigyen az ár". Ha akar,

kiköp téged is.

Hány éjjel lestem

hiába titkait! Csak

kikötni lehet

Haiku grey as the sea (English)

Poseidon and us.

Here, life seems to be the same.

He'll asks for it back.

The ever salty

water of the seas; tears; time

immemorial.

Submerged the mermaids

live. If you chance to see one:

try to forget her.

Ankle-deep tide, then

 the knees, neck. Tomorrow then.

It's never ending.

Avoid dolphin eyes.

That is a higher life-form,

never forget that.

They all sail away;

by now the skies are empty:

not one albatross.

The tide lets you ride.

But to suit its will it will

spit you out as well.

Many a night I

tried to find out its secrets!

Berthing - no options.
