Domenico Burchiello (1404-1449) firenzei borbély, komikus önéletrajzi tárgyú versek és politikai szatírák szerzője. Az utóbbiak miatt el kellett hagynia szülővárosát. Számkivetésben halt meg, Rómában. Időnként tobzódik a feje tetejére állított tréfálkozásban, mai fogalmak szerint börleszk verselő.
