Ezra Weston Loomis Pound (Hailey, Idaho, Estados Unidos, 30 de octubre de 1885 – Venecia, Italia, 1 de noviembre de 1972), poeta, ensayista, músico y crítico estadounidense perteneciente a la Lost Generation —«Generación perdida»— que predicó fogosamente el rescate de la poesía antigua para ponerla al servicio de una concepción moderna, conceptual y al mismo tiempo fragmentaria.
