Blake, William: The Little Boy Found

Portre of Blake, William

The Little Boy Found (English)

The little boy lost in the lonely fen.

Led by the wand'ring light,

Began to cry; but God, ever nigh.

Appear'd like his father, in white.

He kissed the child, and by the hand led.

And to his mother brought,

Who in sorrow pale, thro' the lonely dale.

Her little boy weeping sought.

A megtalált fiúcska (Hungarian)

A lápon az elveszett fiú,

Kit elcsalt kósza lidérc,

Sír, ám vele jár az Úr, s most odaáll

Fehérben, az apjaként.

Csókolja elébb, majd fogja kezét

S az anyjához vezeti,

Aki bús, halovány, s sír a völgy során,

Míg kisfiát keresi.
