Dickinson, Emily: How happy is the little Stone

Portre of Dickinson, Emily

How happy is the little Stone (English)

How happy is the little Stone
That rambles in the Road alone,
And doesn't care about Careers
And Exigencies never fears—
Whose Coat of elemental Brown
A passing Universe put on,
And independent as the Sun
Associates or glows alone,
Fulfilling absolute Decree
In casual simplicity—

De boldog is a kicsi kő (Hungarian)

De boldog is a kicsi kő,
Magában csavaroghat ő,
Minden Versengésre fütyül,
Gondja nincs, elvan egyedül —
Színét, e földszínű Ruhát,
Felölti egy múló Világ,
Független, ahogyan a Nap
Társsal süt vagy maga marad;
Mindent fórsriftosan teszen,
De csak amúgy mellékesen —
