Meléndez Valdés, Juan: De Dorila

Portre of Meléndez Valdés, Juan

De Dorila (Spanish)

Al prado fue por flores

la muchacha Dorila,

alegre como el mayo,

como las Gracias linda.

Volvió a casa llorando,

turbada y pensativa,

el trenzado sin orden

las colores perdidas.

Pregúntanle qué tiene,

y ella llora afligida;

háblanle no responde,

ríñenle no replica.

¿Pues qué mal será el suyo?

Las señales indican

que cuando fue por flores

perdió la que tenía.

Anakreoni dal (Hungarian)

Virágért ment a rétre

Dorila szép leányka,

tavaszra vall a kedve,

szépsége gráciára.

De haza sírva tér meg,

zavart, kedvetlen, bágyadt,

a hajfonata kócos,

fakó az arca, sápadt.

Kérdik, hogy mi baj érte?

Csak egyre tart keserve;

szidásra, szóra úgy tesz,

mintha nem volna nyelve.

Szegénykével mi történt?

Mi érhette az árvát?

Virágért ment a rétre,

s elvesztette virágát.
