Häxan i konung Karls tid (Swedish)

The witch, in the reign of king Karl (English)
Here, upon the mountain, the blackened bones of the hag lie:
she, who was burned at the stake this spring.
Now you'll be told the tale about the red fire:
how the old woman was put at the stake, to burn.
She had white splinters of pine-wood.
But those splinters, she stuck in a wall.
She slowly approached the wall,
and out of the splinters, she milked, with shaky hands, for her children.
But it was out of the rich parson's cow that the sweet milk was coming.
The children had to stand by their mother's pyre.
