Günter Bruno Fuchs (1928-1977) Berlinben született. Tizennégy éves korában kisegítő szolgálatra behívták a légihaderőhöz. Belgiumban hadifogságba esett. Tizenhét éves volt, amikor hazaengedték. Elvégezte a berlini képzőművészeti főiskolát. Költő, elbeszélő, grafikus volt.
