Vytautas Sirijos Gira (szirijosz gira), (1911-1997) 1949-ben végezte el Vilniusban az orvosegyetemet. Volt újságíró, szerkesztő, tanító, évekig orvosi gyakorlatot is folytatott. Prózaíróként is jelentős. 1931 óta publikált.
