Josef Kainar (29. června 1917 Přerov, Rakousko-Uhersko – 16. listopadu 1971 Dobříš) byl český básník, textař, dramatik a překladatel, ale také hudebník, ilustrátor, výtvarník a novinář. Člen umělecké skupiny 42 a literární skupiny Ohnice.
