Peter Hille (1854–1904) – költő, elbeszélő, aforizmaíró. Bírósági írnok volt, majd Lipcsében tanult, s újságíró lett Brémában. Bejárta Angliát és Hollandiát, 1885 és 1889 között Bad Pyrmontban élt, aztán Olaszországban, végül Berlinben. A századforduló idején igen népszerű költő volt.
