Schmidt von Lübeck, polgári nevén Georg Philipp (1766-1849) – költő; fiatalon dán szolgálatba lépett, s az altonai bank dán igazgatója volt. Kötete, Liedern (Dalok) címmel, 1821-ben jelent meg. Dalaiból jó néhányat Schubert is megzenésített.
