Waiting for the Bus (English)
She hung away her years, her eyes grew young,
and filled the dress that filled the shop;
her figure softened into summer, though wind stung
and rain would never stop.
A dreaming not worn out with knowing,
a moment’s absence from the watch, the weather.
I threw the paper down, that carried no such story,
but roared for what it could not have, perpetual health
and liberty and glory.
It whirled away, a lost bedraggled feather.
Then have we missed the bus? Or are we sure
which way the wind is blowing? Uploaded by | P. T. |

A buszra várva (Hungarian)
Elhajította éveit, a szemébe fény költözött,
És megtelt vele a ruha, amivel tele volt a bolt;
Alakja nyárira gömbölyödött,
Bár fújt a szél, és zuhogott.
Álom, miben tudás még nem kísértett,
S egy perc időjárás-múlás-feledten.
Eldobom a lapot; ez nem közöl effélét.
Harsogja, minek híján van: Szabadság,
Dicsőség, Örök Egészség.
Most mint ázott toll, pörög a szelekben.
Lekéstük hát a buszt? De tudjuk-e
Bizonyosan útvonalát a szélnek?
