Lope de Stúñiga (1415?-1465) - a navarrai királyság marsalljának fia, részt vett kora politikai és katonai küzdelmeiben. Írt politikai, filozofikus-moralista és erotikus verseket. A nevét viselő daloskönyv valószínűleg Nápolyban keletkezett, V. Alfonz halála után.
