Tristan L'Hermite (1601?-1655) – kalandos, libertinus ifjúsága volt, később XIII. Lajos, majd Gaston d'Orléans szolgálatában állt. 1637-ben bemutatott Marianne című tragédiája egy ideig Corneille Cidjével vetélkedett.
