Inger Hagerup (1905-1985) Őt tartják Norvégia legnagyobb költőnőjének. Szerelmi lírája sokszólamú; a mámoros örömtől a tragikus vízióig terjed. Versei a náci elnyomatás éveiben ellenállásra buzdítottak. Művei: Flukten til Amerika (Menekülés Amerikába, 1942), Videre (Tovább, 1946), Den syvende natt (A hetedik éjszaka, 1947).
